Recorded in the greater Los Angeles area, where Melissa now resides, “Easy Way Out” features Melissa on vocals, acoustic guitar, and piano, as well as ukulele.  Dave McCormick plays electric guitar on the CD and there are a number of contributing musicians on the song “Daddy,” as it was recorded during a live performance that Melissa did in Oklahoma City.

Ironically, at the songwriters festival, Melissa is debuting brand new music that she has just written, meaning, songs not found on “Easy Way Out,” although the release of the new album is certainly the highlight of this, her fifth appearance at the Festival.

She is scheduled to perform three times during the PBSF and will certainly be highlighting the songs from her new CD.
