August 29, 2016 -- Thanks to repeat invitations, Melissa will soon be flying across the country to the southeast again.  First will be to the Florida panhandle and then to lower Alabama.

From September 29th – October 2nd will be the 8th Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival.  Then, from November 3rd – 13th will be the 32nd Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival.  (The dates, times, and locations of Melissa’s performances will be posted here on her website once the schedules are finalized.)

“I’m so grateful to be going back to both of these events again,” Melissa said.  “Even though I’ve been to both of them multiple times, there’s always something new to look forward to – plural.  Whether it’s meeting songwriters I haven’t previously met or gaining some new perspectives that will contribute to my writing or even playing at venues that I haven’t performed at before, it’s sure to be an enjoyable experience once again.”

The PBSF is something of a homecoming for Melissa, who spent her middle school years in that vicinity.  This year marks her sixth time playing at that event.

For the Frank Brown Festival, 2016 represents her fourth time being a participant in that gathering of over 200 songwriters.

Watch Melissa’s website and social media after the festivals for photos and video from both events.
